The potential for efficient use, economical use, and reuse of resources such as fuel, electricity, water, and oil for heat treatment equipment is significant. The energy of heat treatment heating equipment must be reasonably selected according to local conditions and time.The thermal efficiency of heating equipment has a lot of room for improvement. The waste heat of fuel products must be fully utilized. A large amount of cooling water must be recycled and cleaned from the surface of the workpiece. Oils and fats should be recovered separately, and failed quenching oils should be collected, refined and reused or used for other purposes. In short, the effective use and regeneration of resources is an important part of the sustainable development strategy of the heat treatment industry. At present, people's understanding of the importance of this issue is far from the level of understanding of the environment. At present, national leaders and many people of insight fully realize that the solution of this problem cannot be based on preaching. It is time to legislate and formulate regulations.
Waste water, waste gas, waste salt, dust, noise and electromagnetic radiation formed by heat treatment will cause pollution to the environment. Solving the environmental pollution problem of heat treatment, and implementing clean heat treatment (or green environmental protection heat treatment) is one of the development directions of heat treatment technology in developed countries. In order to reduce the emissions of SO2, CO, CO2, dust and coal slag, the use of coal as a fuel has been basically eliminated, and the amount of heavy oil has become less and less. Most of the light oil has been switched to, and natural gas is still the most ideal fuel. The waste heat utilization of the combustion furnace has reached a high level. The optimization of the structure of the burner and the strict control of the air-fuel ratio ensure that NOx and CO are reduced to a minimum under the premise of reasonable combustion. Gas carburizing and carbonitriding are used. And vacuum heat treatment technology replaces salt bath treatment to reduce the pollution of waste salts and CN-toxic substances to water sources; water-soluble synthetic quenching oil is used to replace some quenching oil, and biodegradable vegetable oil is used to replace some mineral oil to reduce oil pollution.
Induction heat treatment equipment has many advantages such as fast heating speed, energy saving, non-oxidation and decarbonization, no pollution to the environment, and high production efficiency. These advantages are widely recognized by heat treatment workers, so they have developed rapidly in the past ten years. Of course, this actual demand has also greatly promoted the development and technological upgrading of domestic induction heat treatment equipment. Take Changchun's China FAW as an example. The company has more than 100 induction heat treatment equipment, of which 50 have been added or updated in the past ten years, almost all of which are thyristor intermediate frequency equipment and IGBT super audio equipment. The weight of induction heat-treated parts of FAW's medium-duty trucks has reached 291.3kg, accounting for 52% of all heat-treated parts. Induction heat treatment has really uplifted half of the heat treatment.
